Why We Do It?
The lack of representation in mainstream media is a critical issue that affects not only underprivileged youths but also the broader community. Media plays a pivotal role in shaping perceptions, influencing attitudes, and fostering social change. When underrepresented communities are excluded or misrepresented, it perpetuates stereotypes, misunderstandings, and misrepresentations. And this has been far too long a thorn in our community.
P3 Media is dedicated to rectifying this imbalance. We believe that the authentic voices and stories of our youths can have a transformative impact on our collective media landscape. Through our programs, we empower these young filmmakers to become storytellers who accurately and positively represent their communities, allowing their narratives to take center stage in mainstream media. We do it for the culture!
OUR PROGRAMS - FOR STUDENTS
P3 Media Camp
30 days teaching the 3 Ps of film production. Pre-production, Production, and Post-production. They will film individual projects as well collaborate on a short film for the final project. At the end of the camp P3 Media host a film festival where family and friends are invited to celebrate the work of their kids.
Workshops
5-6 days working on specific niches in media, ie.Interviews, Video Sales Letter, Short & Long form videos for social media, podcast, etc. This will add more depbt to what they learned in P3 Media camp,
Masterclasses
P3 Media partners with professionals in the film industry for 1-2 days of sharing their tips, insights, and priceless advice about the business that will enhance our youths disposition to be effective and more productive.
Apprentice

The Role of P3 Media
P3 Media recognizes the urgency of addressing these needs. Our programs are designed to be a catalyst for change, aiming to bridge the educational gaps, break the chains of misrepresentation, and meet the demand for diverse stories. We believe that by nurturing the filmmaking skills and creativity of underprivileged youths, we can empower them to become change-makers and storytellers who contribute positively to the media landscape.
Through education, mentorship, and the power of storytelling, we intend to instill confidence and hope in these young individuals. Together, we will create a more inclusive and empathetic world where the voices of all, regardless of their background, are celebrated and valued.
